Keith Olbermann, the liberal crusader whose combative style put him increasingly at odds with his network bosses, resigned abruptly from MSNBC Friday.

The San Diego environmental group, Coastkeeper, is organizing a beach clean-up for Ocean Beach, on Saturday, Jan. 22nd.

Ocean Beach Pier area – Meet on the grass next to the lifeguard tower at the end of Newport Avenue north of the OB Pier. The clean-up is from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Supplies are provided, but please bring your own bucket and garden gloves to reduce waste. Registration only for groups of over 25 people.
