Passion fruit and cacao nibs give caramels a warm tropical note

By Carol Rizzoli / Provincetown Independent  / Feb 21, 2024

Our annual visits to San Diego always involve tacos of every description. With Mexico less than 20 miles away, our meals here also feature extraordinary fruits and full-flavored vegetables from the farmers market and fresh grilled fish and shrimp. That was then: February 5th. This is now: February 25th.  Less than three weeks after the column appeared, that Cherchez La Femme imperative has exploded, thanks to the recent Alabama Supreme Court’s ruling that in-vitro fertilization is illegal.
