The San Diego Harbor Police confirmed it responded to reports Wednesday, May 27, of a collision between a San Diego Seal Tour boat and another vessel near Shelter Island.
Harbor police said the collision, which happened Wednesday afternoon in San Diego Bay, was minor and no injuries have been reported. The Coast Guard will investigate the incident, as the other vessel involved was commercial.
Video after the collision shows a Harbor Police patrol boat near the Seal Tour vessel on calm water. There is also a third vessel in the frame, but it has not been confirmed if that was the vessel involved in the collision. All vessels appeared operational and fully afloat after the incident.

The Seal Tour vessels are Hydra-Terra amphibious vehicles, adapted to travel by both land and sea. Patrons spend the first leg of the tour on land, during which the multifaceted vessel travels through city streets before splashing down for a cruise throughout San Diego Bay.
