OB and San Diego Fire Pits on KOGO Radio Saturday May 1

fire pit jump_pitsAt 12:30pm today, Saturday, May 1, there will be a half hour discussion of OB’s and San Diego’s fire rings and pits.  Go to AM 600 to listen.

It is a discussion between Frank Gormlie of the “Adopt-a-Fire-Pit” Project, Hans Baumgartner of Save San Diego Fire Pits, and Phyllis Pfieffer of the La Jolla Light.

Hey Wait?? are these the firepits on Ocean Beach??? What? someone wants to close them??? WHY??? They seem a great place for people to come together on the OB beach….all controlled !!! Why end it??/
I was there for 2 weeks for the first time and thought it was great to let people get together on the beach for awhile…..I really can not understand why anyone would want to stop it……

Woo Hoo!!! All 185 Fire Pits REMAIN where they are!!! Way to go all for helping preserve what means something to the people. Here’s a OBlicious hug to all who made the “donations” and put forth their time, energy, and efforts to bring this to such a beautiful solution!!!
