OB Winter Solstice 2014 posterToday – December 21st – is the Winter Solstice and there’s a celebration happening in Ocean Beach.

The Puppet Insurgency is organizing it, and it all begins at Coastal Sage Gardening at 6pm, located at 3685 Voltaire Street – up across from the Pt Loma library.

After a shadow puppet show, organizers and the folks that join them will then reconvene at the corner of Ebers Street and Newport Avenue for the second part of the celebration.

This will include a procession and caroling down Newport all the way to the ocean!

People are asked to bring masks, noise-makers or instruments.
