The 2011, 17th Annual OB Exposed! Was one of the best we’ve had with over 250 attendees.

Pat James opened with the comment, “Welcome to OB Exposed! Buffet”. This was due to the yummy and wonderful spread local restaurants and bakeries donated.

A variety of interesting subjects and beautiful photos were entered. Wonderland Documentarian Noah Tafolla presented the awards.

A lot of humorous remarks were made including one winner who said, “I took my photo with a basic small camera, you didn’t really need a fancy camera with a large lens”.

Steve Rowell (contest judge) and Joe Ewing (winner of 2 awards including “Best in Show”) were standing nearby with their expensive cameras and lens going “Huh”. A lot of laughter filled the room.

There were about around 125 entries, including a self portrait by a 4-year old named Joshua Vollrath, who won the children’s category.

Here’s the final list of winners:

Joe EwingBest in Show

J. KutzBest Color

Michael AllenBest Black & White

Vince AdameBest Vintage

Joe Ewing Best Special Effects

Joshua VollrathBest Childs

Ray HitchcockPeople’s Choice

Winning photos can be seen for a month at the OB Library.
