      1. Frank the 12th of December is today Thursday, that makes Saturday the 14th of December, 2024 You do have the correct date further down. You had me confused but that is easy to do.

  2. Sorry to miss the talk. Will be walking in the PB Christmas Parade with other RIMBYs, holding a sign against the proposed 266′ hi-rise. RIMBY =responsible in my backyard (versus yes or not). RIMBY.net links to neighborsforabettercalifornia.org

  3. Frank Gormlie has documented a huge swath of American student protest in May of 1970, precipitated by Ohio National Guard troops shooting student demonstrators at Kent State University, for objecting to Richard Nixon’s invasion of Cambodia in the sixth lacerating year of the U.S. war on Vietnam. Frank has brilliantly unearthed the broader national record of militarized response to college student protest at the time — precursor to what’s happened once again on American campuses this year over the Israel/U.S./Hamas/Gaza conflict.

OB Rag’s EditorDude has made a real contribution to American History with this work, which includes 1970 happenings at UCSD when he was an undergraduate there.
    Congratulations, Frank.
