Regarding the recently well chronicled OB Torrey Pine on the 4600 block of Saratoga Avenue: Upon considerable efforts and discussion to appropriately ascertain the true status of the tree, including consultations with relevant independent professionals, and further collection and thorough review of all relevant information; all parties involved have agreed and come to the saddening but responsible conclusion that the Saratoga Avenue Torrey Pine, recently deemed “Esperanza”, should be removed due to undeniable safety concerns.
