Publicly shaming of someone whose beloved dog was just tragically killedin front of them. Classy OB Rag. Classy.
No one was publicly shamed. We removed all names and phone numbers.We do want to give negative feedback to those who nail or tack notices – of whatever kind – to living trees. Don’t harm trees by your notices.
Good point, Frank. I’ve also seen taggers paint graffiti on trees. That’s also bad behavior.
I agree with Beach Girl. Very bad example. I care more about poor defenseless dogs than trees. Maybe a sign for a free couch or something would have been more appropriate.
Shoulda just blurred out the pic of the dog Frank. This was such a public and emotionally charged issue that people are gonna take this the wrong way. Lately OB takes offense at just about everything. I get the point you were trying to make. But nowadays there’s always a camp that will yell at you for something in our little hamlet. An awful shame about that pup; please don’t put nails in trees. Those are mutually exclusive thoughts.

I’ll add that I REALLY hope the people responsible for killing that dog are found and brought to justice. Don’t care so much for the tree nailers to be brought to justice. ;)
