for those of you following the Dumanis campaign, after all these years in office, she’s finally launched a public corruption hotline. http://goo.gl/AzGOp not that she’s an opportunist or anything. just because there is already another hotline run by the FBI that exists fpor the same purpose… H/T to Dave Maass on Twitter

Just checking in now that I’m home for the evening from an actual PAYING JOB!
I’ve missed you all! Don’t know if I’ll ever catch up completely but it sure good to see your little avatars… ;-)
Hey, right on, Patty, that’s some great news! Nice way to start 2012!
Yep, it is. I actually started on Dec. 27th. I laughed that I will get a W-2 for three whole days of work…
Here’s a thought to toss gasoline on the fire. How about turning Sunset Cliffs Blvd. heading South into a one way street from the West Point Loma Blvd. to Newport Avenue and Cable Street heading North one way from Newport Avenue to West Point Loma Blvd. It just might ease a little traffic congestion, keep vehicles moving and reduce emissions in the beach area.
No, no, no. OB will not do well with one-way streets. We’ve been fighting them for decades, as one-way streets tend to divide communities.
Ummmm…Frank, I’m not buying that one. Divide communities?
We have a community which is too densely populated and draws thousands of people each week from outside the community. There is one transit bus which runs about every half an hour, which is insufficient to alleviate the traffic volume. With one way in and one way out (not counting the secret ways), you’ve seen the traffic to get in and out of OB during peak hours, and it is only getting worse.
I am afraid I am going to have to call you on this one Frank. If it eleviates the congestion, I’m for it…
This has been a historically and physiological and psychological affect, documented.
Urbane Legend….
Since this is an open thread how about an update on several stories that generated a lot of talk, comments and hatred :
1. The woman who was arrested after SDPD and First Responders went into her water damaged apartment to check on damage etc…..and found a cooler full of weed and she charged with child endangerment etc …..what ever happened to her ?
2. The woman who thought a neighbor had poisoned her dogs , last on this she was waiting on lab results .
3. The OSD folks who were reportedly arrested under false pretense’s and were in the process of suing the City….
4. Occupy Bobby’s status ….
These stories appeared to have legs and got a lot of attention when first posted but seemed to just go away , maybe I missed the follow up’s ….Can anyone shed some light ?
Hello, somebody anybody……..Does anybody know anything about these ” stories” or maybe they were just that ….
