Reader Plea: ‘Please don’t let them name the Coronado Bridge after Ronald Reagan’ – Call and Vote in U-T Poll

A reader wrote us:

“Please don’t let them rename any of our San Diego structures for Ronald Reagan- B actor, D president, F on human rights.”

(See this article here.)

Make this simple call TODAY 2/8/11 and make your voice heard!

In case you missed it in the San Diego U-T today, Section B page 1, the daily poll had as its question:

” Do you approve of the suggested name change from the Coronado Bridge to the Reagan Bridge?”

Call 619-293-2506 and listen to the statement and hopefully hit 2 to have your vote counted to keep the current name. There will be plenty of new things that could be named for the former President — like a sewage plant or a garbage dump — without changing the current name of the Coronado Bridge.

Please make a call and get your friends to call who want to keep the Coronado Bridge name.”
