I talked to a Vietnam vet tonight who was close to tears talking about how he felt when the country admitted Gulf of Tonkin was FAKE and he lost friends who died for a LIE. Now thousands are dead and maimed for the even bigger lie that Muslim men planned 9/11/01 and the war on terror is real.
So Bradley it looks like people who do what you did and expose government wrongdoing can upset veterans when they find out they lost fellow soldiers to a out and out lie.
This trend is as old as the high Greek empire days – remember “kill the messenger”? The Greek hero came running back to the city with the very bad news of a huge military loss, and enraged, other Greeks killed him. Perhaps someone with a brighter and more Greek-oriented mind can fill in the blanks.
And for those who lost their friends, a 9/11 denial and the holocaust denials are the the biggest forms of a FAKE and a LIE.
RB – what exactly is a “9/11 denial”?
There are groups (Denial Movement, 9/11 Truth Movement) in the US and overseas that claims 9/11 was a US Government or US Agency directed event.
They start their discussions with the denial of Muslim participation and planning of the attack.
Also, let me be clear, I am against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The US response to 9/11 was counterproductive.
