A group of eight or ten of us were on the Taylor Street Bridge Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 18th, from 4 to 5:30, over the I-8 eastbound. It’s an old sign, but I hadn’t used it on this bridge.

I posted this before. I get the anger of high gas prices because it cascades into higher prices on everything. But if you’re going to Starbucks 5 days a week and paying more for a cup of coffee than you are for a gallon of gas then zip it. Most people have no idea what it takes financially to get oil out of the ground…especially from offshore. It’s a lot more than what it takes to make a cup of coffee

No, I have advocated for less car dependence long before Trump’s illegal war. Things might be worse than usual in regards to gas prices right now, but over the years there have been plenty of other reasons for gas prices to go up. I don’t remember the reason, but a few years ago MAGA were posting Biden “I did that” stickers on gas pumps. Gas prices are and will continue to be an on going issue. Gas prices are not going down long term.
