OB’s legendary head shop, The Black, has re-opened. April 6 was their “soft opening” and the place appears to be the same, although by the looks of it, there are more beachy products – paddle boards, towels, etc.

The Black is iconic ! I’m glad it’s reopened. The comment Steve O said is not very supportive of a business that managed to stay open in this rough business climate. I’ve visited off and on for the last four decades I think. It’s where I go to get my OB stickers ( Which last forever ) and grab a Furry Freak Brothers comic book. It’s laid back and crazy like OB.
Glad someone stepped in and did the right thing by keeping it open. Does anyone know anything about the new ownership?
