Kathy — Your wonderful cat was lucky to have you and your husband and beautiful garden. So many condolences! (I think grief clouds your sense of time, as there is no February 29, 2025, and if there were, it wouldn’t be here yet!)
Anyway, I have a newish 2-year-old entirely black cat named Bagheera whom I try to keep indoors so that he won’t eat the hummingbirds or get hit by a passing car or catch the avian virus from any transient ducks or geese. I know he dreams of Peetie’s kind of wonderful life
with lizards and stuff. Great photos — thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful tribute to a great cat. You and Peter were lucky to find each other.
