Shawn Christopher Clark, age 46, of Cave City, KY died on September 21, 2024 while riding his beloved Harley Davidson.
Shawn was born on August 17th, 1978 to his mother, Carol (Dodson) Davis and his father, the late Danny Clark Sr. in San Diego, CA. He spent his childhood in Ocean Beach, where he and his friends spent time on surfboards and skateboards, before going on to attend Point Loma High School.
He resided in San Diego for much of his adult life until relocating to Daytona Beach, FL in his mid-thirties. A lifelong lover of the ocean, it was in Daytona Beach that he developed a particular fondness for sea otters and jetskis.
Eventually, Shawn’s wandering heart prompted him to find employment as a truck driver. He took great pride in his country, and felt fortunate for the opportunity to travel it. He filmed lighthearted selfie videos for his family and friends along the way. It was through his trucking job that he fell in love with the rolling hills of quaint Cave City, KY.
Shawn is survived by his mother, Carol Davis, as well as his two beloved children, Francesca and Nicholas Clark. He also leaves behind siblings Danny Clark Jr. and Ashley (Joshua) Pribyl, as well as several nephews and a niece.
Constantly joking, he will be remembered with laughter, and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
