Thank you for this important notification. Although OB is in a different district than mine, Talmadge (CD9), this Forum is important for all San Diegans to attend as this current CD9 councilmember is also the Council President. It is important to note that a City of San Diego council president has the authority to choose and prepare agendas for the city council meetings. Unfortunately, our current council president, Sean Elo-Rivera, continues to neglect the true needs of San Diegans; such as spending hundreds of millions of dollars to purchase the asbestos ridden 101 Ash Street building (which has been empty for years and will NEVER be occupied) rather than using our taxpayer money to clear and maintain storm waterway systems. As such, we are in dire need new leadership. Please attend to learn what this council president has consistently failed to do for the City of San Diego.
