Join thousands of your fellow San Diegans this Saturday, April 14th for The March for Science – at Waterfront Park next to the County Administration Building along Pacific Highway.

Why We March

The March for Science champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.

Transportation / Parking Info

Recommended pick-up for buses and taxis: Kettner Blvd. and Pacific Highway.  MTS/bikes/ walking/carpool/rideshare encouraged. Parking will be scarce.

Code of Conduct and Media

This is a family-friendly, peaceful event.  Be respectful of others. We tolerate no hate speech, bigotry, or harassment targeting individuals.  Do not engage counter protestors. Stay positive and pro-science. If you choose to speak to the media, emphasize your opinions are your own and you do not speak for the March.

Permit Restrictions

No sales of goods or services allowed.  Service animals only please.

Come Prepared

It may be hot, bring water, sunscreen, and wear a hat. Shade umbrellas can double as a sign, be creative! No food will be for sale at Waterfront Park, feel free to patronize downtown businesses.

Keep It Clean!

Please help us remove all refuse created by the March. Volunteers will be performing thorough track pick-up.  Help us out by doing the same. We will have bags and gloves. If you bring a sign, please take it with you at the end.

ADA Accesibility

Designated ADA services located near stage at each site, including dedicated space, ASL interpretation and assistance from volunteers. ADA compliant bathroom facilities are available at each site. Ramps and walkways will be kept clear along route.

Anybody going from OB? Could we meet at the Green Store for rides?
