For 148 years, the San Diego Union-Tribune has endorsed Republican candidates for President – until now.

Calling Hillary Clinton “the safe choice”candidate for President, the newspaper endorsed her for the highest office in its editorial for Sunday, October 2nd, 2016.

And today the paper was sold to Gannett. Look for more layoffs and less content.

Holy guacamole, batman! geez, dude, I was just getting used to the new ways, they just started a “new” Local section on Sunday (fairly lame) too.

Why do newspapers endorse anyone? Call me old fashioned by I think they should focus on presenting news, not creating news.

I do believe the OBRag has more continuity than the vaunted San Diego Union Tribune. LOL
