The stairs to the beach at Bermuda Avenue have collapsed. Bermuda Avenue is in south Ocean Beach, and the stairs normally lead to a wonderful pocket beach – that has seen a lot of erosion over the last 40 years and loss of sand.
Repairs are expected to take at least 1 to 2 years.

They should demo the lower section and make it a viewing platform for the duration of the planning process. I think that’s what Captain Sticky would do.

The city should have had the property owners, the condos to the North and the compound to the south , in some cash for the reconstruction when those properties did improvements to their walls. Accessing that beach will be a real challenge now.
