Let the Chargers Go – from a former Charger Fan
– who used to be able to afford to buy a ticket.
If Qualcomm is in such disrepair,
LET THE CHARGERS GO!
It will cost too much to keep them here,
LET THE CHARGERS GO!
Go away Spanos, take them away from here,
Tell old Faulconer, that they will still be near.
Go to Carson, Chargers,
You will still hear me cheer,
But don’t be surprised if it’s not for you
In fact it may sound like a jeer.
If Spanos wants support from the fans,
He should cough up more dough,
If he does not want to do so, then
LET THE CHARGERS GO!
Go away Chargers, away to another city,
I can’t afford a ticket now, Oh what a pity.
But I’ve been paying for them to make millions,
Over these past many years,
And after last Sunday’s game, all I have is tears.
Downtown is not an answer to keeping the Chargers here,
As a taxpayer I resent the thought
And I’ll vote “no” without fear.
It’s been exciting all of these yearsWatching the Chargers play,
There comes a time when enough is enough,
And now we come to that day.
Good bye Chargers, enjoy your new stadium,
Maybe, if you are lucky, you’ll score more points for them.

The Chargers are leaving, it’s gonna happen. Just to screw with NFL teams’ fanbases, I’d like to see the Rams and Chargers move to L.A. and see the Raiders move here to San Diego. Would the San Diego fans be open to being Raiders’s fans?? Oh, the humanity!
What a great idea, Steve. Five of my grandsons – and one niece – are Raider fans. They said they would ALWAYS be Raider fans. Wonder what would happen if the Raiders came to San Diego. Brings a smile to my face just thinking of it.
Thanks Norma. I think we are still in the minority!
I support the Raider Nation no matter what. It’s not about the City that they are from, it’s about who they are and what they represent to me.
I became a Raider fan because I liked a fan base that would be strong through thick and thin, it felt like a family. I liked them because they didn’t talk any talk, they just try to walk the walk. I liked them because they took chances and weren’t afraid to lose. But I never liked them because of their city. Actually, after going to Oakland, I feel that that is where they belong. But even in SD, I’d love them the same… the Raider Nation is not a city, it’s a family. And we have unconditional love, you can tell that by the fact that we always have support.. even when we suckED.
Oh Judi Curry, you are a poet after my own heart.
Let’s hear it: GO DOWN CHARGERS, WAY DOWN IN CARSON LAND…
Enough of giving money to bilious billionaires. Bring it to a vote. Nobody is going to be fooled again.
