Apparently, there has been even another hit and run incident in Ocean Beach lately. This one occurred on November 6th, reportedly.
In a post at Reddit.com San Diego, LksdG2 stated that on Nov. 6, around 7 pm, his girl friend’s vehicle was t-boned at the intersection of West Pt Loma and Bacon Street by a drunken driver – who fled the scene.
The post states that a white Toyota with a camper shell ran the stop sign and hit the other car. The male driver got out of the truck, approached the other car, still in the intersection. The woman in the hit car was still badly shaken up and didn’t respond to the guy who had come up to her vehicle – who smelled strongly of alcohol. Supposedly, he wanted to take care of the incident right then and there. Upon no response, the driver returned to his truck. Meanwhile, his woman friend had gotten out of the truck – and then he took off – leaving her on the sidewalk.
The male who fled is described as an older, white guy with white -gray hair who has an eye patch over one eye. The truck should have its front damaged from the accident – given “the pile of parts in the street when [LksdG2] arrived.” LksdG2 had appeared at the intersection, apparently and was surprised the man with the eye patch could drive his truck away.
The victim had minor injuries, but was “mostly sore from being tossed around.” The truck’s speed was estimated at 25 to 30 mph when it impacted the other car.

This guy has to be an idiot. It’s such a small town, and he has a CAMPER SHELL and he wears an EYE PATCH?? This sounds like the exact same car that hit that poor girl by Pizza Port. This guy needs to be found and put away before he hurts anyone else!!!
My thoughts exactly. He shouldn’t be too hard to catch.
Put out an APB on a drunk, eye patch wearing, pirate driving a severely damaged truck with white camper shell.
I suggest starting at the nearest trailer park…..
