Serving OB, the Peninsula and San Diego Beaches
As of Thursday Afternoon, Dec. 5th
County Environmental Health officials have just notified the OB Rag – at our inquiry – that we and our dogs can go back into the ocean at Dog Beach and South Mission.
These beaches had been closed since Sunday, Dec. 1, due to a sewage spill up San Diego River near I-15.
A third sampling of waters had to be taken in order to ensure that it was safe to go back in. Health officials did that this morning, and the sample looked good.
