Retail Building on Newport Avenue Goes for $800,000

A building in the 4900 block of Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach has just been sold for $800,000.  The retail building at 4932 Newport – which currently holds the  young women’s store, Miss Match – includes approximately 2400 square foot of space.

The approximately 2,400-square-foot retail building in Ocean Beach at 4932 Newport Ave., San Diego 92107, has been sold for $800,000.

According to The Daily Transcript, the buyer was Tally Bercovitz,  an owner/user. And the seller was the Mary M. Winn Trust.

“Todd Massas from Plaza Bank helped secure financing on the property for the buyer.  Peter Wright of QualityFirst Commercial represented both parties.”

Double-siding an $800K sale – that’s good for $40-48K commission. Not bad…

So, will the new owners keep the same stores there, or are they planning to evict them and put in something else?
