NO KINGS Human Banner Action at Dog Beach – Pre-Rally Demonstration Sends Message Across the Nation
Join us on Sunday, June 8 at Dog Beach in Ocean Beach for a powerful and creative act of visual resistance as we form a massive “NO KINGS” human banner in the sand.
This impactful visual action serves as a pre-publicity event for the NO KINGS March and Rally happening Saturday, June 14, 10 AM–12 PM at Waterfront Park, Downtown San Diego.
This peaceful demonstration is part of a nationwide call to reject authoritarianism and affirm that power belongs to the people—not to kings, dictators, or billionaires.
The national coordinated actions are a direct response to Donald Trump’s planned military parade in Washington, D.C., on June 14. Instead of allowing that parade to dominate headlines, activists nationwide are reclaiming the day with creative and decentralized actions that reflect the true spirit of democracy.
Participants are encouraged to bring a red, white, or blue towel or beach blanket to add bold color and patriotic symbolism to the aerial image captured by drone.

Can’t wait! The more we do to show the wannabe dictator that he is not wanted, the better.
Last human banner I participated in was the lightening bolt when the Chargers went to the Super Bowl! I’m here at Dog Beach now. Can’t wait!!
what was the turnout like?
I was in the “O” and couldn’t see all of it, but I would estimate 40-50 people per letter. So maybe 300-400 people? It was a nice event. Looking forward to the photo/video and seeing 40,000 of you fine patriots downtown next weekend.
