Join the 24 hour Economic Blackout on Midnight Thursday, February 27 to Midnight Friday, February 28

An activist network including the People’s Union USA is calling for a 24 hour economic blackout across America for Thursday, Feb. 27. Here’s their website. Other groups and networks have also joined in the call.

Here’s what Peoples Union USA says:

The 24 hour Economic Blackout

For one day we show them who really holds the power

WHAT NOT TO DO:

  • Do not make any purchases
  • Do not shop online, or in-store
  • No Amazon, No Walmart, No Best Buy

  • If you must spend, ONLY support small, local businesses.

SPREAD THE MESSAGE

Talk about it, post about it, and document your actions that day!

WHY THIS MATTERS!

  • Corporations and banks only care about their bottom line.
  • If we disrupt the economy for just ONE day, it sends a powerful message.
  • If they don’t listen (they wont) we make the next blackout longer (We will)

This is our first action.
This is how we make history.

February 28th – -The 24 Hour Economic Black Out Begins.

Who We Are Fighting

What we are building is not just about resisting corruption, it is about exposing it. For decades, corporations, politicians, and industries have worked together to rig the system against the American people. They have built an economy designed to exploit workers, suppress wages, and keep the majority of us in a constant state of struggle. These are the forces that have stolen our financial freedom, manipulated our government, and kept power in the hands of the wealthy elite.
Mega corporations have driven up prices, underpaid their workers, and outsourced jobs while raking in record profits. Banks and financial institutions have trapped generations in debt, inflating interest rates and making homeownership nearly impossible. Politicians ”both left and right” have accepted corporate bribes, passed laws that serve billionaires, and ignored the needs of the people they claim to represent. The system has been designed to keep us powerless, but that ends now.
We will name these corporations, industries, and politicians. We will expose their corruption and ensure the American people know exactly who has been working against them. If you have information about corporate abuse, political corruption, or government overreach, submit it here. This movement belongs to the people, and together, we will bring the truth to light.

Get Involved! Join Us In Solidarity

We are stronger together. This is a movement built by John Schwarz for the people, and by the people, and we need every voice in this fight. If you believe in taking back power, breaking free from economic control, and building a future where the people ”not corporations” decide the direction of this country, then join us today.

Sign up for updates and stay informed about our next moves, upcoming economic resistance actions, and major developments in the fight against corruption. By signing up, you will be among the first to receive critical action plans and strategies for taking back control.

Beyond signing up, we will invite you to join our forthcoming private community, where members can connect, organize, and take real action. This is where ideas become movements, and movements create real change. We will not be silenced, and we will not be ignored. Join the community and be part of the fight for economic freedom and justice.

  1. Raising awareness is important, but it can’t be the end goal. If we want to dismantle the system of corruption which is the Trump administration, we need bold, strategic actions that push for immediate, tangible reforms—actions that go beyond signing petitions or making noise on social media. Only then will we ensure that our efforts truly result in the kind of systemic change that will break the stranglehold of corporate and political elites.
