I live right down the street and I support this. The current homes are an eyesore and look very run down. With the bus right there, and a newly renovated school across the street, this will be a nice place for working families. And Bennys could use the business lol.
Developers typically let the properties they already own get into the condition that you describe. The purpose is to elicit a response such as yours. These were beautiful homes when people were permitted to live in them.
well, 8 stories in an area that’s bus and transit accessible: not terrible, but the fact that they’re not adding parking, does the City think that all of these 180 units will not have a car, not run a business that requires one, and has to keep tools in said car, which will eventually get broken in to, stealing all those nice tools that one makes a living with?
I wouldn’t want to leave my car, out of my sight, in that area, but it’s not their problem. You live there, you take the risk.
