A big thank you to everyone at Neighbors for a Better San Diego!!
A real grassroots organization of community member advocating for better planning of our City and policies that will result in more affordable housing.
NFABSD was the first to sound the alarm about the City’s disastrous Bonus ADU policy and have been working diligently on its repeal.
Their work has been impressive from their research, charts and graphics, and giving of their personal time to attend city council meeting to advocate for better land development policies. Check out their website and support them with a donation.
The OBRag also deserves high praise for covering the Bonus ADU developer/investor scam and for giving the people of San Diego a forum to have their voices heard on this topic.
Yes, totally agree with you Deigo K. A lot of very knowledgeable people. Thank you; neighborsforabettersandiego.com
Excellent article from the author! This mayor has destroyed many neighborhoods, with his delusional push for more housing any way you can get it. These kinds of moves also increase the surrounding neighborhoods assessed, by the County Tax Assessor’s office, property taxes, in addition to the destruction of the neighborhood. San Diego NEEDS a mayor that’s FOR the people not determined to continue to do TO the people. Vote for larryturnerformayor.com AND Terry-Hoskins for Council Dist. 9
Speaking of 4601 Almayo, this is the investor bulletin. You can read about “the Stacked Plan” which the developers use to expedite and maximize infill.

Todd Gloria and the 9-0 City Council are all-in for this. The only hope lies with our strong Mayor type of governance, and anybody other than Todd Gloria, to bring a semblance of balance back to our current situation.
