Unfortunately there are a lot of really stupid people that believe this crap…but then cartoons aren’t really supposed to be funny. They do, however, have a long-standing tradition of trying to get people to think out of the box. But people like their boxes since they keep them from having to suffer the incredible pain of cognitive dissonance and critical thinking….
