Ahahahahaha. Finally someone with a sense of humor about the stupidity of this silly weather balloon panic!
Like a country with their own active space program, their own space station, their own satellites circling the planet staring down at us all (just like the US spy satellites and drones) needs to resort to a 19th Century technology to ‘spy’ on the US? The paranoid military foolishness is unbelievable sometimes in this country.
And now we find out that the US ‘space command’ WATCHED the so-called ‘spy balloon’ get launched and knew it was coming the entire time it floated across the Pacific on the Jet Stream. Ludicrous over-reaction in my estimation but what are missiles good for if the military doesn’t get to use them to justify ever-higher budgets? I think the term ‘budget’ has completely lost its meaning…
