What a blast we had at the OB Rag‘s 10th anniversary celebration and Halloween costume party.
Over seventy people – many in costume – joined Rag staff and friends at the gig, which included live music, food and drink, raffle tickets and prizes and a costume contest.

Frank accidentally omitted the Ocean Beach Brewery that donated three kinds of beer in kegs for the event. Brewmaster Jim Millea personally brought the beer over along with Ocean Beach Brewery GM Scott (didn’t get a last name). Jim set up something called a jockey box, a cooler with 100 foot coils of stainless steel immersed in ice. This meant that each glass was ice cold. He also hooked up a CO2 tank to power the taps. Jim brought a Red IPA, a great pale ale, and a wheat beer. There were a lot of compliments on the beers that were Jim’s own recipes. The Ocean Beach Brewery is one of only two businesses that actually brew beer right in OB, Pizza Port is the other. All the other beer places are tasting rooms with beer brewed elsewhere. A big thanks to Ocean Beach Brewery for bringing the lubrication for a fun party!
