Tony Atkins beat Marty Block in our OB Rag poll that we just ran. With 272 readers voting, Atkins won with 60% – 162 votes, to Block’s 39% – 106 votes. This is a 3 to 2 advantage for Atkins.
Atkins is the Speaker of the California Assembly and Block is the incumbent California Senator for the 39th State District. Both are Democrats and have fairly liberal voting records.
The poll choice “neither” had 1% or 2 votes. And “Will not or cannot vote” also had 2 votes for 1%. The poll ran for about a week.
It was not a scientific poll, but it does reflect the views of our readers.
