There’s a lot going on this Saturday, September 19th – there’s the OB Town Council OB Pier Pancake Breakfast, there’s the California Coastal Cleanup going on …
And there’s one more important event happening Saturday as well – it’s the City’s only recycling and community-wide cleanup this year in Ocean Beach.
It’s a chance to get rid of lots of yard waste and alley discards, old appliances and electronics.
From 8 am to 1 pm, the City’s Environmental Services Dept, will provide 40-cubic yard bins for our discards. They will be located at the back lot at Abbott and West Pt Loma near Robb Field.
Certain items are not excepted – like light bulbs/tubes, dirt or construction rubble, like hazardous wastes – so please see list in poster.
