Newly Appointed District 2 City Councilman Ed Harris to Attend OB Town Council Meeting – April 23rd

San Diego CityCoun D2 atmt Haris03bEd Harris, the newly appointed City Councilmember for District 2, will be attending the OB Town Council meeting this Wednesday, April 23rd.  Harris was appointed to the seat by the City Council from an initial field of twenty applicants – many from OB and Point Loma.  Harris will formally introduce himself to the community at this event and is expected to say a few words about his priorities for the next 8 months, until at which time, the newly-elected Councilperson will take over the seat.

The OB Town Council is also hosting a community dialogue on innovative solutions to persistent problems associated with neighborhood design and civic engagement.

  • Rebecca Taylor, NextDoor.org
  • Jeanne Brown, League of Women Voters of San Diego

The OBTC is organizing volunteers to learn how to register voters for the upcoming Primary election taking place on June 3, 2014.

The meeting takes place on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00pm at the Masonic Center located at 1711 Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.

The OB Town Council hosts public meetings on the 4th Wednesday every month. Whether you’re a long-time OBcean or just want to learn more about OB, all are welcome!
