  1. Senator Sanders spoke passionately on this issue. I was thrilled to watch him yesterday on C-Span’s coverage of the Senate.

  2. tremendous waste of time……..pure filibuster……if he can’t get his point across in 10 minutes, then he doesn’t deserve to be anyone’s representative…..

      1. If your political point of view takes only 3 minutes to get across, I’m not certain I want you representing anything other than my order at the drive thru window.

  3. There’s a Rule in the Senate that all they have to do is Say they will filibuster. It’s a “virtual filibuster” that doesn’t get attention from the citizenry.
Bernie Sanders gets his point across in one sentence. His filibuster got attention.
I hate it that Cox decided to take C-SPAN2 off ch. 18 so basic cable subscribers can’t see the workings of our Senate. I hate it that Air America didn’t get the monetary support they needed, too.
Anyone who can stream Bernie Sanders on the Thom Hartman show on Fridays, might do so. I stream KPTK Seattle’s website: http://www.am1090seattle.com 9:00 am.
