Attend the City Council Hearing Today – Over 1,000 Have Signed Petitions to Keep Ocean Beach Library Open

OCEAN BEACH, CA.  The organizers of the resistance to the proposed closure of the Ocean Beach Library have counted 1,000 signatures on their Petition to oppose its closure.  OB residents and supporters of Libraries and Rec Centers everywhere are being asked to attend today’s City Council Hearing from  2 to 5 pm, on the 12th Floor of City Hall. Car-pooling is happening in front of the OB Library at 1:15pm.

Councilmember Kevin Faulconer has conveyed the message to his constituents in OB that he will not vote to close the branch in Ocean Beach.
