UPDATE: the body was found at the bottom of the stairs on Ladera Street.
The call was received around 9 a.m. near Ladera Street and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. San Diego Police Officer John Buttle said once officers arrived at the scene they declared the person dead and said no medical aid was needed. NBC7
San Diego Police is investigating.
According to Times of San Diego, a person was found dead shortly before 10 a.m., today, Monday in the 700 block of Sunset Cliffs Blvd.
The circumstances of the death were unclear, SDPD Sgt. Dave Yu said. The decedent’s identity was not immediately available.
This particular block of Sunset Cliffs Blvd includes the stairs to Garbage Beach and beyond and the sides of the cliffs themselves are very precarious.

His name was Don Carter he was a popular local musician.
