Thank you Ocean Beach and Point Loma! We made our fundraising goal of $2,000 – thanks to all the donations. The OB Rag is assured to be able to operate for another year.
We had 35 donations come in since last week – 25 of them from Ocean Beach and Point Loma residents. The donations ranged from $15 to $250 – with eleven supporters sending in at least $100 each.
That’s so awesome!
It’s very inspirational for us to know we have so many supporters out there and that enough folks in the village are able to keep us going.

This is a good time to give a shout out to all our monthly sustainers who with monthly automatic donations from $3 to $25 really keep the OB Rag going in between our annual fundraisers.
Just mailed my little contribution yesterday. It’s winging its way as I write this.
Ain’t got much spare income but it was my Labor Day yearly send-support-donations weekend. Once a year. consortiumnews has a check coming, a couple of other sites. If everyone gave just a little here and there the difference it makes is amazing because there are so many of us.
Glad to read that others value a small beach-town newspaper still. Very cool. Warms the heart it does!
