Tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 24, there will be a presentation on a Point Loma Town Council at the Hervey Library, at 6pm.

The folks who are putting this together say:

This is an opportunity to find out how a town council can help Point Loma (and San Diego) address the problems we constantly complain about.

Not just some of the nagging problems of urban living, but the major problems that we live with and would like changed and feel we can’t, and problems we are most afraid about.

These are not my problems, but your problems, our problems: like airport noise, Sunset Cliffs park, Famosa open space, homelessness, Navy expansion on the hill and the bay, Kellogg Beach, the NTC chapel, Midway development, building height limits, traffic, infill development…

Please, come and be prepared to hear how towns can be effective about our common concerns.

For information, please, contact Michael Winn 619 414 9829 (Hervey Library is located at Voltaire & Poinsettia)
