Save Bahia Point Park – Paddle & Appreciation Day – Saturday, Mar. 10

There’s a “Save Bahia Point Park ! -Paddle & Appreciation Day” being put together by some of the beach folks mobilized against mega-hotelier … Evans public land grab at Bahia Point in Mission Bay. It’s happening Saturday, March10th.

From a flier put out:

Walk or bike over at 10 am … picnic on the grass or paddle in the cove at Bahia Point Park; behind the Bahia hotel.

Help STOP the Bahia Hotel’s fast tracked 600-Room Mega Hotel/Convention Center project that threatens to:

  • bulldoze Bahia Point Park & Gleason Road
  • end waterside launch access for small craft
  • gridlock MB residents & emergency vehicles
  • set precedent for more coastal high rise hotel infill development.
