The Transportation Committee of the OB Planning Board is meeting tonight, Monday, January 27, at the OB Woman’s Club.
The meeting begins at 6:30 pm at 2160 Bacon Street.
On the agenda are 2 discussion items: “Request to Form a Parking District”, and something titled, “Access OB.”
Here is the official agenda:

Access OB has some interesting things in it but once again has the proposal to connect Bacon Street through Robb Field and the skate park to the terminus of the 8-freeway paving over precious public land, destroying the skate park, routing high volume traffic into Robb Field, and significantly increasing volume of cars into quiet OB neighborhoods on Bacon Street.
A 2015 transplant and self-titled “Southern California real estate developer” is doing weird stuff as Chair of the Transportation Committee for the Ocean Beach Planning Board.
A “Parking District” sort of sounds like a giant parking lot for a theme park, with OB as the theme park. Yuck!
