The Neighborhoods of the Traveling Sign. OB, Point Loma, Shelter Island, Mission Hills — everywhere one looks.

Ocean Beach corner vacant for years…and now a hazard…or a future High Rise.

Fiddler ‘s Green sign down. Closed.

Will road be moved to allow for high rise cliff dwelling buildings? Coastal Commission 30 foot height limit now under siege in CA State Assembly.

Across the street on Sunset Cliffs.

What happened to “preserving the character of the neighborhood?” A takeoff title…on “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants?”

When you vote emotionally instead of logically you wind up with a super majority legislature. If one party has absolute control, bad things happen because there are no checks and balances.

Who would have thought that a super majority Democrat legislature would gut neighborhood planning, or spend like drunken sailors, or push to undermine the Coastal Commission and the 30 foot height limit?

The next time you vote, ignore the party label and look deep into the candidate’s past. Have they acted in our best interest in previous dealings? Do they have shady dealings or friends? Who has donated to their candidacy? Donations are public information, by the way.

Remember, elections have consequences and unfortunately we are reaping what we have sown.

“Do they have shady dealings or friends?”
One could argue this covers everyone who’s drawn into elected government office as a career choice, regardless of political leanings. While everything you said is valid, it’s hard to imagine the kind of people we want to elect would want to do this kind of work.

Agree Chris! Assume they are slimy and pick the least dangerous? We’re in a destructive time. We all need to attend the rally on 7/29. Details will be announced through: https://www.neighborsforabettersandiego.org
