The Ocean Beach Green Center is hosting a film and discussion about single-payer health care for California. This will be Thursday, June 22nd at 7pm.
The presentation and film will be led by a representative of Health Care For All San Diego. The film “Now Is The Time”and the discussion will be on single-payer health care and how we can move forward with SB 562 “Healthy California” legislation.
Health Care for All says: “single-payer/expanded Medicare-for- all – universal healthcare is a real possibility in California. It can save individuals and the state money while providing MORE services than Medicare does now.”
The event will go from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Following the film will be a Q&A. There is limited space, so please RSVP to Nanci Kelly, 619-224- 1084 or nkelly711@gmail.com. The event is free of charge.
