“I’m finally crying. I think it just hit me …”

Editor: We received this text from a young, woman reader who has a 9-month old daughter, in response to Trump’s election:

I’m finally crying.

I think it just hit me,

what this means for all the minorities,
women,
little girls,
lgbtq,
immigrants,
disabled.

The earth and her children.

And also what it means

for the bully,
the racist
and the bigot

that now know that they too can be president.
