REGION: Reshaping county districts draws yawn from County residents

The stakes are high; the consequences are lasting.  But so far, there’s been little more than a public yawn over the reshaping of the San Diego County Board of Supervisor districts. At the eight meetings held since February by the county’s Redistricting Advisory Committee, just 12 people have voiced their opinions. Public attendance at one meeting was roughly a dozen people. At another, just one nonpublic official sat in the sparse audience.
