Your input can help craft the OB Library’s future! Click the link below to take the survey, and let the San Diego Public Library Commission know:

1. What do you need from the Library?
2. How can the Library better serve OBceans?
3. What services, technologies, and programs would help you?

The San Diego Public Library Foundation is conducting a 2021-master plan for the libraries.  As part of this process, they are conducting a survey open to all San Diegans.  In addition, Patrick Stewart, the CEO, and Misty Jones, are asking community groups to consider having them for a (virtual) meeting.

Hi OBceans! This is a great opportunity to emphasize the things we need at the OB Library! We need a big meeting room for community groups like OB Town Council and classes and presentations! We need a fun children’s area! We need more technology–we need a room of technology. I’ve watched people wait for an hour to use a computer. Imagine a computer that can print a 3D object! Now, how are we going to fit all that into our tiny 105-year-old library? We need to expand our library using the city-owned property next door at 4817 Santa Monica! The City purchased that property over 15 years ago to expand the library! So we have the space, but the Library Administration needs to hear from you! So take the survey. No personal information is needed to take the survey, except your zip code. Thanks!!
