Hey, it’s not even Halloween yet, but your Ocean Beach Town Council is looking for a giant, tall Christmas present. The Town Council is looking for a donated Christmas Tree for the annual display at the foot of Newport Avenue.

Preferably one that is crooked, or bent like a question mark or …. whatever.

If you have one to donate, please  email the OBTC at info@obtowncouncil.org with information and a picture – which would be great.

But, please, please do not cut down a healthy OB or Point Loma tree just for this occasion.

Hi< All the trees we brought to OB were gotten because they had to be cut !! Some people wanted them cut because they were up rooting their plumbing, City sidewalk/ street, house foundation~~ Notify the Local Beacon & Beach & Bay Press (PB) and run a news brief and I’m sure some will come forward!! For all the years we chaired it, I want to personally Thank all the vendors involved, Hawthorne Cat Larry, Bob’s Crane, Hodad’s, Atlas Tree Service, NatureScape, and the City of SD, SDPD Motor Officers, and Volunteers. Thanks for being a Partner with Gerry B & I (Claudia Jack) and OBTC, it’s been a Great Venture!! PS: We have enough stories to write a book!!
