Of course, you’re invited to join your local community organizations, like the OB Town Council and the OB Planning Board, the OB Mainstreet Association, the Point Loma Assoc., Save San Diego Neighborhoods, ReWild Mission Bay, San Diego Lifeguards, Surfrider, Coastkeeper …..
This the time for coastal issues to be debated by Barbara Bry, Todd Gloria and Tasha Williamson at the September 18th Mayoral Debate. That’s a Wednesday and it’s happening at the Mission Bay High School, 2475 Grand Ave.
A full auditorium will send a strong message to the candidates (and future mayor) that our coastal area is an engaged population of voters and must be respected for the many important issues we’re faced with. The event is being hosted by the PB Town Council.
Doors open at 5:00, and some groups, like the OBTC, will have an informational tables set up, so stop by and get to know your coastal neighbors.

beyond the many questions about drugs and alcohol, bars, scooters, development on our rip-rap coasts, “beautification of thus” with wannabe tart-up MAD’s, deviations from the 30 ft coastal height limit for developer dreams/homeless worse nightmares,… all I have to say is, and let me just quote Nancy Reagen, not my dream queen, but, ahead of her times, “just say no”
I like Todd Gloria, born and raised San Diegan, still relatively humble in spite of it all, or at least his staff still responds to emails,

The Todd Gloria video produced after he was the temporary mayor of San Diego, depicting his greatness with his alumni Pete Wilson JudgeMurphy Jerry Sanders and Kevin Faulkner as a Top Gun mayors says it all.. Native born good ol boy who in my opinion will give us more of the same corruption we are all so familiar with at city hall.
