December 16th Sunday  12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Village Buy and Barter Day Hosted by People over Profits SD

1764 National Ave. San Diego 92113 Do you know many corporations use prisoner labor to produce their products? This is modern day slavery! Do you want an alternative to participating in the prison industrial complex? We believe in creating the world we wish to live in. In times of celebration, we’d rather get gifts for each other through the barter system, instead of lining the pockets of corporations! The barter system is a universal method of exchange used before money was ever invented. We invite you to exchange your services and goods for other’s services and goods! You are welcome to bring anything you’ve made or any service you can provide and engage with fellow community members in a bartering exchange. You are also welcome to use cash to barter to participate, if you’d like to. Do you want to give a gift of meaning and significance to a loved one as well as engage in building the community? Come join at The People’s Lot as we participate in the loving act of the barter!  More info: https://www.facebook.com/events/328942947691742/
