San Diego Police are turning to the public in the hopes someone can identify the woman shot to death in the Baron’s parking lot last Tuesday night, October 9.

She was described as black, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 156 pounds and in her late 20s or early 30s. The victim may have given birth “in the past few months,” San Diego police homicide Lt. Anthony Dupree said.

On the night of the shooting, around 11:45pm, a woman and a man were seen by witnesses inside Domino’s Pizza, near Baron’s. They were seen going outside and witnesses heard them arguing. Then there was a single gunshot.

Witnesses found the woman on the ground but she didn’t have any ID on her – thus the search for her identify. The suspected shooter took off in a black sedan driving away on West Point Loma Blvd. He is described as being in his mid-30s and also African-American. There was no information on his vehicle.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the victim’s identity was urged to call homicide detectives at (619) 531-2293 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
